Gave it another try, tired a bit of Hajua as everyday tea. The flavor is very, very good, both dry leaves and wet ones after brewing, but to me, it lacks body. Or is it "character"? not sure how to call this, let's just say it is "not satisfying". Just my opinion of course, that of a long-time Assam lover. My favorites are: Meleng, Doomni, Gingia.

Not bad, and good value for the money. Didn't like it first, found too "eclectic", then it was our weekday morning Assam for a while - until the 2 lb bag came very dusty (broken tea dust, I mean). well, the staff promptly rectified the issue, I can't complain, and thanks again; and I guess this is the nature of the product - if a blend is being made, more leaf gets broken, and you might get more dust then desired. Anyway, we did not buy this one since, why bother, there are quite a few very decent "single malt" Assams here, for any price range. Neutral rating. 31/2 stars for a strong Assam lover, if we were at Amazon.com. Vlad

This Assam has been my favorite tea for years now. It is smooth and malty. Add some 1/2 & 1/2 and sugar and it is to die for! I love it as an afternoon pick me up ritual. Truly a tea that I savor! And the price is right. What a blend!

Reviewer: Vickie McDonald,
Very smooth, no back bite or bitter taste--even when strainer is left in the pot.

Reviewer: Wendy,
I was surprised at how nice and smooth this tea was. Wonderful flavor. Would love to know what blend was used.
