Well that's why I love it! I'm tired of all the pretension surrounding most teas. I'm tired of trying to figure out why on earth people are babbling about chocolate, muscatal, honey, earthy notes etc. This is good clean tasting tea period! Makes excellent ice tea despite what other reviews have said. Also gives you a good wake up jolt in the morning. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: KIMBERLY J , HARMELING , NORTH BEND ,WA April 22, 2008 This is one of my favorite teas. It's a very flavorful, wonderful morning cuppa, the addition of a bit of rock sugar and milk make it the perfect wake-up tea. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: Andrew , Golder , Philadelphia ,PA March 05, 2008 Good but not for Iced Tea! (Try the #306 Ceylon OP) I like this tea hot but the flavor is a bit strong and dark for iced tea. I am surprised this is the only non flavored black tea on the top 10 list for iced tea. It is much better suited to be enjoyed hot with milk and sugar. For iced tea try the #306 Ceylon Nwara OP, it is lighter in flavor and perfect cold with a touch of lemon and sugar. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: A tea Drinker, New Port Richey ,FL November 04, 2007 I love this tea! I use milk and the brown rock sugar and it just developes into a wonderful tasting tea. I also have the tea bags so when I'm rushed to go into a meeting at work I can grab and go. I just thought when I drank it that this "was just a perfect cup of tea" and the price is really nice also. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: Matthew , Schrank , Chicago ,IL January 14, 2007 This tea is not very interesting and tastes rather flat, similar to a pot of stale (store bought) PG-Tips. Suitable for Iced Tea but nothing more. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: Lisa , Conrad , STRATFORD ,CT September 12, 2006 The tea was great tasting. It was smooth. It has long leaves and smell's refreshing. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: Niky , Sanctus , New York ,NY September 12, 2006 I was looking for a nice but straightforward breakfast tea that is a bid lighter than the Assam and the English Breakfast blend I usually drink. This Ceylon fits the bill perfectly: It has a nice, to me almost chocolaty flavor, is medium bodied, tastes great with breakfast but is also good between meals. For the price, I do not think you can beat it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: A tea Drinker, EL PASO ,TX August 27, 2006 I didn't care for it at all. It's unidimensional and has an unpleasant earthy or musty flavor that reminds me of pu erh tea. Definitely not my cup of tea. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: A tea Drinker, Anywhere, US May 04, 2006 Almost a grape like taste when taken with milk and sugar. Worth a try. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: Gerald , Dorfman , West Babylon ,NY March 10, 2006 This tea made a tea drinker out of my wife, a lifelong coffee drinker. We both love the taste. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: A tea Drinker, Belmont ,CA February 12, 2006 Soft and rosy, plus a slight mustiness. Very nice, particularly for the price. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: Michele, Poche, League City,TX January 21, 2006 We tried this tea without having tried it previously. We loved it, a definate staple in our cubbard. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: Scott from Ohio, This tea is very smooth, aromatic and flavorful! It has never been bitter. It is a great tea. I use a little sugar in this tea, but I'll try it without too. Of course Darjeelings, Oolongs Greens, and most Blacks don't need any sugar at all. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: Teri Pittman, This is a beautiful tea with long, wiry leaves. It is excellent with milk and sugar. It is not the least bit astringent. It has become one of my favorite teas. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: Keena, It does indeed have a rosy scent. From the first cup, it demanded that I sit still and sip quietly. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: Anna from Hoboken, Caught me by surprise - strangely wonderful! A gentle tea, combining rose and vanilla notes. Please keep this one in stock always!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: Harold, I was totally surprised by this wonderful mild tea. It is truly outstanding. To truly enjoy this tea I suggest all try it with no sugar, its not needed! Please keep this tea in stock. I have added this to my list of all time favorites. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: Leilani, This tea has the most wonderful honey flavor to it! Even "non-tea" people comment on how tasty and honey-like it is. I have a hard time deciding between this one and your Salonah as my #1 favorite tea. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: Julia L., One of my favorite teas. It has a wonderful scent and a mild, slightly sweet taste. It also makes great iced tea. ![]() |
