A very nice tea and a great bargain. "A somewhat malty Earl Grey infused in rose water" gives a suggestion of the flavor, which lingers nicely on the palate. I get a decent second infusion at 5 to 6 minutes.

Wow, this is an excellent cup of afternoon tea. I drink it without milk or sugar--perfect. Tolerant of oversteeping, medium-bodied but by no means dull.

Next to the Golden Monkey (and who could blame me!), this is the best tea I've found here so far for making a plain black iced tea. It's smooth, but not wimpy, and needs very little sugar to suit my tastes. It's got a very pleasant aroma, and a nice aftertaste that doesn't change from the original sip. A great, everyday tea.

I have always enjoyed a good cup of tea, sometimes I am in the mood for stronger tea, sometimes for a smoother treat, but this tea has the perfect equilibrium, you can have one cup after the other, and you will still want another one, this tea is so subtle yet tasty that you will become addicted to it! highly recommended as every-day tea

I don't have enough experience to compare Tiger Hill with other Nilgiri teas. This is a very satisfying tea: straightforward, well-balanced, medium-bodied, with loads of flavor, a long finish, and good astringency without being tannic. Just a hint of citrus, but in the aroma rather than on the palate. Nothing quirky or esoteric, simply a good quality tea. I could drink this all day long. Enjoyable plain, no milk or sugar necessary.

A very satisfying tea. Never tried Nilgiri teas before, and I like this one, even more than the Thiashola sample (much more interesting and complex). It is heartier than a darjeeling or ceylon, but not as overwhelming or predictable as an assam. Hardly a monotone tea! It has nice caramel notes. Can't wait to try Grahamsland when it's back in stock.

This is my favourite Nilgiri--much preferable to the Grahamsland or Thiashola. My biggest problem is whether to have it is a mellow, morning cuppa or a smooth afternoon one. I'd wager that flavour-to-price, this is the best deal around.
