A very good tea. Complex. A little woody, a little fruity, mildly floral. Strikes me as a cross between a mild FF Darjeeling and a Formosa oolong (say 617 or 619). A very mild astringency. I did try a second infusion, but needn't have bothered.

I'd say the description of this tea is accurate. It is indeed a wonderfully complex tea. As it infuses it has a pale green hue, which slowly changes into a perfect golden amber. The taste seems a blending of a fine first flush Darjeeling and a China (Yunnan) black. The look of the leaves alone is beautiful, a mix of dark greens, browns and whites. Oh yeah, and absolutely no astringency at all...a very smooth tea. The only caveat is the price - some may just as well stick with China black teas instead, and I couldn't blame them, as I love China black teas. But I may treat myself to this one every now and again.
