Despite criticism of this tea it has been my favorite for years. I have tried organic and more expensive Keemun teas but nothing makes a morning cup of tea like the 501. I always return to 501 for its aroma (fruity with a hint of smokiness)and the briskness of my morning cup with milk.

Nice for the price! A touch of soy and raw sugar really bring out the described notes. Can't wait to try the Keemun Imperial!

Not nearly as complex as other Keemun teas from SpecialTeas. Basically, it's boring. It is a strong tea, so I advise using less per cup. High in caffeine.

This tea is a great value for the price. It has a slight smokiness but not overpowering. It seems very tolerant about varying brewing time. It goes with milk well and my breakfast scones. (breakfast is only time i use milk in tea, or when I order "dessert teas")

I don’t know either something wrong with my and father’s stomachs, but we just couldn’t take this tea. Drinking this tea brought our stomachs to nauseating condition. We are both originally from Europe so maybe we have different nutritional tolerance for certain tea bacteria. In all, it’s not good tea even if you can tolerate it. Intersting, will Specialteas put such unfavorable review on it site?

I've ordered this tea 3x now. I find it has a very unique flavor and takes sugar and milk well. One of my favorites.
