I know this is lower grade Ti Kuan Yin, but I can only compare it to what it available here locally in Lawrence, Kansas. In my opinion it is stemmy, and has too many leaf fragments instead of whole leaves. The flavor just isn't all the way there. There is a place here that sells this same quality for a very high price, but I can get better Ti Kuan Yin at our local community mercantile with whole leaves at a comparable price when one considers the quality and the fact that you don't have to pay shipping.

The 511 China Fine Ti kuan Yin Oolong is one of the best oolongs I have ever tasted. The price is perfect if your wooried about spending alot of money for a good quality oolong. I will buy this tea again and again. :)

This is all good! I'm a newbie to Oolong teas besides what my wife buys as "weight loss tea". This tea blows the "source" out of the water! It has a very real taste and presence and is excellent on ice! Love it!

This is my first time trying tea from this website. I ordered it and recieved it literally one day later. I am totally impressed and this tea I ordered it b/c of the previous reviews on this tea and everyone was right. Probably one of the best tea's I have ever had. Don't get rid of this one and thanks for the excellent service and the product is shipped and stored in such nice bags.

I enjoyed this tea much more than #515 China Superior Ti Kuan Yin Oolong. It had much more flavor and the price is so good. This is becoming a staple for me and I love the flavor.

This is by far my favorite tea so far from you guys. It has such a nice taste and feels very natural. I could enjoy drinking this tea everday, morning or night, hot or cold. Please bring it back!

I decided to write this review while enjoying not only my first cup of this intoxicating oolong but also enjoying my first cup of tea from SpecialTeas. After watching the perfectly twisted leaves dance around in the first steeping and taking the first sip, I had to sit down faster than Jerry Seinfeld trying a cup of mulligatani from the infamous soup stand. What a tea! Bursting with floral notes and a haunting aftertaste. Perfect after work relaxing tea! I can only imagine what the next infusion will taste like.

This reminds me of a variation of #654 - not as nutty but similar in ways. Excellent tea. A friend of mine likes to experiment and she mixed this with #942 Green Mango. Fabulous!! The combination of the two is exquisite!! The flavors compliment each other perfectly. The taste is still great enough to stand on it's own though...you don't have to blend it. I would, however, highly recommend trying it mixed with 942 though. That's how I prefer to drink it now.

Received this as a sample and found I enjoyed it so much I wanted to order it. Unfortunately, everyone else likes it too; it's out of stock. It was the smoothness that got me; like a really fine wine.
