The first time I tried green tea it was a grocery store brand and tasted like I made tea from yard clippings. This is nothing like that. Very mild flavor and ever so slightly smoky. Other reviews call it "strong". I don't get that but I'm new to green tea, so perhaps it is. It almost gives the water a texture, in a pleasant way and the smell and flavor remind me of early fall when you just start to get a hint of leaves and wood smoke in the air. This is very good tea at an excellent price. I'll be sampling more greenies in the future.

A very good tea. It can be a little astringent and biting if you let it brew too long. But generally it as a nice smokiness and pleasant complex taste. I think it would be great with mint so I'm getting the Morrocan Mint next.

I am a big fan of Gunpowder tea and I have tried many Gunpowders from several different suppliers/producers. This is a great Gunpowder and it has a wonderful smokiness and a slight natural sweetness.

This tea was just alright. Like someone else said the tea was bitter and I'm hoping this isn't with all gunpowders. It is much better as an iced tea than hot tea because of its bitterness.

I am a fan of gunpowder tea but this one is only OK for me. Kinda bitter and not as much flavor as I expected. Perhaps I need to try different steeping times and temps. I don't think I will reorder this one but probably the other one.

This makes an awesome iced green tea! Tastes wonderful mixed with a little bit of lemonade... a glorious summer treat!

Good basic tea when I know I won't have enough time to really appreciate my afternoon pot of green. I make it and then have the extra iced the next day. It's smooth, goes a long way (leaves uncurl beautifully), and is a good value. I will order more to make iced tea in the summer.
