Not bad, but, every one of the green teas I've tried from here were outstanding. (The 534, WOW) This one is definitely NOT good for multiple infusions and releases what flavor it has in the first and only cup. It is, as others have said quite mild. I'll gladly finish what I have of it, but this will be the only tea from here I won't be re-ordering.

This tea is very plain. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I prefer my greens to be a bit more robust/grassy/vegetal. If you are new to green tea this is a great place to start. It has a very delicate and clean taste and a golden color that is very pleasant.

My fiance and I recently received a sample of this tea and we were both very impressed. I had had a cup of China Green Tips from borders and found that I really enjoyed that style of green tea so I did some research and found out that that particular tea came from the Zhejiang province. I was interested in trying a higher quality tea from that province so I searched specialteas...one of my favorite tea suppliers...check out uptontea.com as well...between these two companies I have found I can get most anything that I have been looking for. The first Zhejiang province tea that we bought from specialteas was 540 China Three Cups Fragrance, which I highly recommend...good for up to 3 sometimes even 4 infusions... has a slightly more vegetal taste than 521. 521 was exactly as described "brisk, clean, sweet". I found it was only good for one infusion though as opposed to 540, but I enjoy the taste so much that I just bought 1/2 a pound of each. Because you can make multiple infusions with 540, My fiance and I drink 540 in the morning so that we each can make a pot of tea for ourselves and we drink one pot of 521 in the evening. You can't beat the price of either of these teas as well...excellent value. So if you have never tried a tea from the Zhejiang province, I'd encourage you to try a sample of this one and also try 540 China Three Cups Fragrance :D

This tea is just okay. The flavor is sweet and very plain. There are better choices but not for this price. Good for one infusion.

Reviewer: Wesley Neal Williams,
This one really surprised me, especially for such a reasonably priced tea. It consists of mostly tips and tender leaves. The infusion tastes of evergreen with some sweetness and 'green-ness'. I really liked it! You can chew the leaves after they are spent, too. They are very delicate and sweet in flavor.

Very good tea and a wonderful bargain. Certainly worth a try.
