For me, this is an enormously subtle tea, not to be rushed. Yes, the peaches and what-not are there; you'll have to go looking for them, the fruit flavors don't hit you over the head. If you want a brightly flavored or vegetal green, look elsewhere. I really liked it, but it's a waste to drink it while concentrating on something else.

Nice floral, red rose-like aromatics to the nose and whitish-down feather mixed with the light green buds to the eyes. I prefer to use two tsps per cup, steeped for five minutes. The steam arising from the cup has wonderful floral tea smell. The flavors reminiscent of Dragonwell intertwined with smoky, roasted nuts...complex, smooth, flavorful.

"Astounding Fragrance?" What an understatement!! I smell a freshly brewed cup with those wondrous aromas of, yes, peaches, with hints of orange blossoms and I am transported. Also elegant in the mouth, it satisfies my soul, palate, and so much more. DO NOT MISS THIS TEA!!!

Temp: 160° F Time: 2 min. Color: yellow with green tinge Aroma: sweet, fruity floral, hint of spice Taste: peach hints, nutty, sweet, intense fruity floral Aftertaste: hint of pungent sweet

Reviewer: Steve,
This is easily one of the best Pilochuns available. The flavor is outstanding and unique. A bargain for the price in my opinion. With some practice I managed to squeeze out up to five decent infusions from this tea.

Reviewer: Renee,
I found this tea to be very mild, very delicate with a wonderful fruity/peach scent. It has no vegetal aroma or taste, being very clear yet it is definitely a green tea. I could get three infusions with it before it became too weak.

Reviewer: Raymond Neal,
This is a wonderful tea. It is very complex; almost mysterious. No one particular quality outbalances the others. It is clear without being weak at all, and as the other reviewer mentioned not at all vegital like the senchas. I taste a hint of mintiness, but I almost hesitate to mention that since I hate mint and love this tea. The cheaper "astounding fragrance" is also excellent. Only slightly less refined for half of the price.
