This tea is very caffeinated for green tea. It makes me nervous and uptight feeling, and not like coffee either. It's actually worse, although I'm sure it has less caffeine...

I prefer 507 China Yunnan Imperial much better than this one, and its cheaper as well. I can't say that I entirely disliked this tea but I did not find it as interesting as the Yunnan Imperial.

Not as aromatic compared to higher grade Long Jings (my "go-to" tea.) Lighter mouthfeel with seemingly one-dimensional depth in flavor. For the price, I consider it a good deal. For my taste, however, this type of tea lacks complexity and depth in flavors.

As a green tea novice, I tried several different samples and this one was by far my favorite. It's very full-flavored without a vegetal taste. It is also very forgiving when not using recommended water tempature/steep timing; no bitter taste like some others I've tried. It also tastes great iced. I highly recommend it.

Very good tea for price. #535 is slightly better but not worth the extra $. Has a strong finish but the initial taste is mellow. One of my favorites - thanks Specialteas!!

I sampled 7 of the China green teas in the below $8/quarter lb range and this was the best one. The site's description of the tea is right on.

I tried a sample. This tea has a wonderful floral-citrus aroma both in the bag and in the cup. I was expecting a stronger flavor, however. When brewed for the recommended 90 seconds, the flavor is quite subtle to my taste, with a hint of spicyness. I will probably buy more.

I came to this having developed a real love for the black tea from Yunnan. If you like that distinct, spicy character, you'll find it in the green tea too, alongside a really pleasant, smooth sweetness. Not at all the grassy, vegetal green tea you might have had in the past.

I love this tea! A beautiful green tea that is subtley spicey and very refreshing. There is no need for sugar as it has it's own sweetness. Not at all vegetal in in aroma or taste. I make several infusions from the same leaves. I drink it all day at work.

My comments are quite in keeping with those above. This tea (though I hesitate to say this for fear SpecT will raise the price) is, to my thinking, every bit as good as teas costing twice or thrice as much. If you like this Yunan, try the Lin Yun White Down. This Yunan is not quite as subtle, and to my tastes just a tiny bit smokey ("tiny bit" isnot a bad thing!). Nothing like Lapsung Suchang. All in all, this Yunan is a winner and a bargain.
