Everage tea: light smokey flavor with a hint of bitterness. I was able to get only one infusion out of it. The second is virtually tasteless. I brewed it at 170F for 1.5 minutes.

It's a good tea. Slightly nutty, slightly sweet. Not vegetal, as long as one doesn't oversteep (no longer than 2 min.!) Nice leaves! 3 stars for taste & 1 more for value. I think briskly steaming is right on, but I find 1.5 tsp (2g) of leaves provides a more satisfying cup.

I LOVE THIS TEA! it is highly aromatic, considering the price. This is the best bang for your buck tea....just dont steep for too long!

Slightly (and nicely) vegetal, with some faint fruity notes in the aroma and a flavor I can't quite place, chestnutty maybe. Very smooth and relatively sweet. I don't find this green as complex or subtle as say 527, but it's entirely likeable with reasonably bold flavors and good aftertaste. A worthy tea for drinking even if your mind is on something else. I didn't experience the steeping sensitivity mentioned by another reviewer.

I found this tea to be very unforgiving in terms of brewing (water temp, steep time and tea amount). Contrary to the website's description I found this tea's taste to be rather muted in it's nutty/smokey taste and not particularly complex- one of the few green teas here that I wouldn't reccomend.

Reviewer: T-bone,
An incredible tea at an incredible price. Normally, when tasting notes for a green tea include fruity, I just don't agree (my palate anyway). However, this tea just sings of berry and stonefruit taste.

Reviewer: Eric,
The description mentions fruity notes but I dissagree. This teas strikes me as tasting very honey like but gentle and refreshing.

Reviewer: E,
Very good. Complex, sweet, mabey fruity, and...I can't quite describe it but perhaps herbacious? Very nice. Looks like they could take better care of it though the leaves are fairly broken up.
