I have been drinking this tea for several years now, so I think it's safe to say that it has become a staple in my diet. I find it to be a wonderful, light fruity tasting tea with just the right touch of natural sweetness so that I don't ever need to add sugar. However, it's very important to adhere to the suggested brewing time of 2 minutes. Any longer than that can bring out some bitterness. Also, if you don't go over 2 minutes, you can get a nice (although lighter) second infusion from the same leaves. Very economical!

wow this tea was bad. it tasted a bit bitter. i think it was the Lichee in it. If you are looking for plainer black tea to make it iced, look at other teas. But I guess some people would like the lichee.

This is a well balanced tea that is good both hot and cold. It is very similar to the Rose Congou. I like to drink as an ice tea and sweeten it with a simple syrup (although this tea is naturally sweet so some may not want to add anything at all. I just like my iced teas extra sweet.)

I'm not a big black tea drinker. I mainly stick to the flavored greens and the green rooibos blends. I just blindly decided to try this based solely on the description of the flavor. I was very pleasantly surprised at the amazing flavor of this tea. It's definitely not a weak flavored black. The lichee flavor is quite pronounced...but that's the way I prefer it. I drink this hot with honey and a bit of soy milk. The flavor is so fabulous I would actually say I find it intoxicating. My husband isn't fond of it, but I happen to think he's weird in that sense. I also had a friend try this and she adores it as much as I do. This was my first black tea purchase from SpecialTeas and what a great first choice to make. I highly recommend this tea.

Not everyone's cuppa tea. But if I don't start my day with this tea I feel that something is missing. I love the Lychee flavour of this tea and also enjoy the Fruity Russian Caravan.
