I find it's flavor incredibly unique. I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of China greens. Priced in the realm with many good estate FF Darjeelings, and, to me, this tea is as equally complex and as delightful. I found it to be very comparably priced. Its very full on the first steep (second steep was drinkable but pales in comparison to first), and its rich nutty notes turn to cinnamon and allspice when this tea is slightly sweetened. I think it may be slightly more processed than most green tea leaves, judging by the unusually tight curl in the leaf, so it expands a large amount in steeping (similar to the way many oolongs expand). I found two tsp./cup to be a bit excessive (one heaping tsp. had plenty of flavor for me and it kept the leaves from erupting out of my filter). ![]() |
