I was skeptical when I saw that SpecialTeas had changed this blend, but I must say the change is for the better. Though I liked the old one, I always thought it tasted just a bit like baby aspirin. The new flavor tastes more like fresh oranges. Very nice! If you want to make iced tea, brew it really strong, because the ice will water it down.

The Blood Orange Fruit Melange used to make a great iced tea - I'd even say it was the best herbal iced tea I ever had. They've now changed the formula and it takes twice as much to make any kind of drinkable iced tea. But no matter how much is used, it still comes out weak and doesn't do well as an as iced tea at all. I used to love this tea, but now have had to go to other suppliers to get a good blood orange melange. Why did they mess up a good recipe?

This tea has a refreshing, strong citrus flavor. It is pleasingly tart (add a pinch of sugar to balance the astringency), and makes a great iced tea. The intense red color is cool too.

I did not love this one. I've never had a blood orange before so maybe it does the flavor justice, but it was so orange juice tasting that I expected heart burn. Flavors were a little overwhelming. I agree with the other reviewer that it might be good blended with other teas.

Blood Orange fruit melange is well worth trying! The color of the brewed tea is very bright and appetizing, probably due to the saffron flowers. The flavor is zesty but not bitter.

I love this alone, but I really love it when I blend it with a variety of black teas (not at one time) This combination is one of my special sit down and enjoy a cup of tea time...

This tea really helps me when the seasons change. I used to get sick every time the seasons changed. I started drinking this tea and really think that it helps to keep my body strong and fights off those germs that try to come. The smell of this tea after it's brewed is invigorating!
