I ordered this as a sample because I have never been a big fan of earl grey tea, BUT this earl grey tea is so far the best one I have tried. I'm a green tea fan, but I may have to order a small stash of this so I can have some on hand!

While Fine Earl Grey, #820, by SpecialTeas is a good Earl Grey, it is decidedly flowery. Those seeking a smoky and more robust Earl Grey would do better to seek out Kousmichoff/Kusmi Earl Grey or even Teavana Earl Grey. Regardless of tea selected, the best way to infuse the tea and get the most flavor out of any tea is to use the Teavana® Perfect Tea Maker which comes in either 16oz. or 32 oz. size.

I am not a big Earl Grey drinker, BUT I did recently order Earl Grey from 3 different vendors because I had a hankering for some. This was the best without a doubt. Another came close and the rest were far behind. There seems to be a very precarious balance in the blending of teas and oils and if it is not done with care you have a bitterness issue or a weakness issue. This is a great Earl Grey and is very well balanced.

From an Earl Grey lover: this is by far the best Earl Grey I have been able to find! Ever since I first tasted #820 I have not been satisfied with any other Earl grey!

I am a dedicated Earl Grey tea lover. I have tried several brands and up till now I was sold on Twinnings. Milder taste than Twinnings Early Grey, but with more bergamot flavor. No bitterness as with many others. Truly an excellent tea. I cannot wait to try some of your other Earl Grey teas!

I tried a sample I got last year from you of Earl Grey #820. It is the most delicious Earl Grey that I have had. I think you have spoiled me for any other brands I could get. I am now going to try some of your other Earl Greys. In general, I have found all of the teas I have ordered from you to be absolutely excellent. And your service is great too! If you are an Earl Grey drinker, this tea has an unremarkable flavor. The bergamot is too light and the base tea is rather dull. Instead, try the Earl Grey Royal, which has a much better and more flavorful blend of base tea. The bergamot is significantly stronger and gives the Royal a much nicer scent and richer flavor.
