Straight-forward flavor; almost boring compared to other teas from the site. The lavender is strong. This would be a good afternoon tea, if served with a snack or a meal. Milk and sugar are required to bring the flavor out. Not a "go-to" tea.

I almost skipped over this tea based on the previous review, but then I decided to try a sample. All I can say is if you like lavender, you will love this tea. The bergamot and lavender are perfectly balanced and compliment each other nicely. The citrusy taste and floral aroma make for a bright, lively and uplifting experience. My compliments to the chef!!

I have to agree with Holly this tea is unpalatable! Earl Grey de la Creme is my favorite - I thought this tea might be a nice perfumy and delightful alternative....I was wrong. The pot I just made will likely go down the drain....I can only describe the taste as "unpleasant" -maybe it's the bergamot clashing with the lavender! I should have bought only a sample instead of 1/4 lb. "Yuk" is my word for this tea! I buy a variety of Special Teas and they're wonderful- I'll stick to earl grey de la creme - that's the best!

A wonderful fragrant tea. The lavender blends perfectly with the bergamot. I like the taste of the earl grey cream better, but this is definitely second best.

Reviewer: Holly Sprackling,
The lavendar in this tea is overbearing. I love Earl Grey (try White Tip - it is the best) and I love lavendar, but together they are disgusting. I actually tried it 3 separate occasions before pouring out the pot and throwing the tea away.
