It has distinct bergamont and grapefruit notes, without being sour or too tart. It maintains a light and distinct tea essense, as well. Definitely the best Earl Grey I have had from this site. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: A tea Drinker, Boston, MA September 18, 2009 We just ordered this tea for the first time and LOVE it. It's elegant, understated yet sophisticated. We like the fact that it has no flowers etc added - the flavor speaks for itself. This will be our step up from the Earl Grey we used to drink. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Reviewer: A tea Drinker, Wildomar,CA July 14, 2009 This one wows me. I don't speak proper "tea language" but I'll try to describe it. Before brewing, I get the strong, appealing scent of green mandarin and grapefruit; as it brews, the aroma becomes sharper and more orange-like. After steeping 3 minutes, the flavor of the tea is of a refreshingly light, "summery" Earl Grey with, to my palate at least, green mandarin coming through more and more as the cup cools. It has a nice balance between the black tea and the fruitiness, isn't too astringent, and is rather unusual in a very good way. I'm buying more of this now that I've sampled it. ![]() |
