We are thrilled to be able to offer our customers this exceptionally high quality, whole flower chamomile tea - our new Eastern Chamomile (No. 975), a true find!
Until recently our experience had consistently shown that the world's finest Chamomile was grown in Egypt. Over several harvests, however, we began to struggle with a noticeable decline in the quality of Egyptian Chamomile.
This prompted us to search for alternatives, leading us to a small eastern European grower. His Chamomile wowed us in every respect - the selection of the flowers is nearly flawless, the color is fresher and brighter than anything we have seen in years, and the aroma and cup are wonderfully multi-layered. So much so that even new Chamomile converts are now loving this infusion for its taste and wonderful calming properties.
Recommendations: Use 1 heaping tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh water to a roaring boil; let steep for 5 - 7 min. Enjoy hot, cold or chilled.
