We have had numerous requests for a lower priced, everyday Darjeeling. Since inexpensive Darjeelings are usually lacking in some aspect or another, we decided to create this blend. Our goal was to provide a solid, flavorful tea by combining comparatively inexpensive but complementary Darjeelings. We then raised the standard one more notch and came up with this year's NOP Certified Organic blend. The tea may vary slightly from year to year but will always have a typical Second Flush Darjeeling cup character.
Recommendations: Use 1 level tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh water to a roaring boil; let steep for 3 minutes.
