319 Ceylon Vithanakande FBOPF (EX)
The Vithanakande Extra Special (EX) consists of fine wiry black and gold leaves that infuse to a warm russet cup color with a rich honey fragrance. An extremely complex tea that seems to combine the best character traits of Ceylons, Assams, and even a high grade China Black (such as Golden Monkey No. 510). Medium bodied with fruity, biscuity and honey-chocolate notes, this tea has much to offer!
Recommendations: Use 1 tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh water to a roaring boil; let steep for 3 min. Try with rock sugar.
