350 Golden Nepal TGFOP
Across the western border of India lies Nepal, the origin of the Golden Nepal. This tea resembles a Darjeeling in both appearance and character. It is, however, by comparison much lower priced. The Golden Nepal, grown in the pristine air of the high Himalayan mountain range, is worth trying for its excellent leaf appearance, golden-red cup color and delicate spicy aroma. Slightly fruity notes show its close relationship to Darjeelings. Best enjoyed plain.
Recommendations: Use 1 level tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh water to a roaring boil and steep for 3 min.
