653 Japan Kokeicha
Kokeicha is produced from green tea paste based on Matcha, the tea powder used for the Japanese tea ceremony. The paste is funneled through small holes producing thin, spaghetti-like strings. Once dried, the strings are cut into small pieces approximately 1/4 inch in length. Kokeicha is a satisfying, smooth-tasting tea with nutty notes.
Recommendations: Use 1 heaping tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh, cold water until rises (180° F); let steep for 1 min.
