352 Himalayan Oolong
Grown high in the pristine mountain air of the Himalayans, this remarkable semi-fermented Nepal tea combines the characteristics of a high-grown Darjeeling and a soulful Oolong. The oxidation process of this entirely handmade Oolong has been carefully monitored by the estate manager and stopped at about 40%, just at the peak of its aromatic bouquet.
This beautiful plucking boasts a high percentage of unopened leaf buds and silvery tips. The infusion is a golden amber cup with a flowery, fruity aroma that delivers clean, smooth flavor with a wonderful, satisfying aftertaste. A quiet, well-rounded tea with many nuances!
Recommendations: Use 1 heaping tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh water until steaming briskly (195ºF); let steep for 2½ min. Try a second infusion.
