619 Formosa Bai Hao Oolong Special Grade
The famous Bai Hao Oolong with its distinctive character is a highly sought after tea, usually only available in very limited quantities. This top-grade, silver-tippy variety is entirely hand-made and has a complex, smooth flavor of ripe fruits and honey with a wonderful hint of cinnamon. It is about 70% oxidized. If you like the Fancy Formosas, try this Bai Hao for an amazing taste extension.
Recommendations: Use 1 heaping tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh, cold water to boiling point; let steep for 2-3 min. Good for multiple infusions. Also good prepared Gungfu style.
Ingredients: Oolong tea
Health Benefits: Studies show that oolong tea, rich in antioxidants, promotes healthy teeth, skin and bones and can help to lower cholesterol, protect against heart disease and aid in digestion and weight loss. Since oolong tea contains a significant amount of polyphenol (known as tannin), it is believed to account for the lower risk of cancer in tea drinkers because of its ability to help DNA cells to accurately reproduce.
