 Decaffeinated Teas
There are essentially two methods to
decaffeinate teas. The vast majority of decaf teas are produced by utilizing chemical
solvents. This is the cheaper and less gentle alternative.
All our decaf teas are decaffeinated with the most advanced and more
expensive CO2 high-pressure process. Using pure carbon dioxide -a colorless, odorless
element of the air, also used in carbonated beverages - over 99.9% of the
caffeine is gently removed. The resulting teas still have their natural color, are
absolutely solvent-free and carry no side taste.
