If you have never tried an electric water kettle, you will be in for a big surprise. A good electric kettle not only heats the water in a fraction of the time a conventional stove top kettle takes, it also is far more energy efficient.
After comparing most of the major brand name kettles we decided on the Bodum line of Kettles because of their elegant design, functionality and feature richness.
All kettles feature automatic shut-off when water boils, a safety lid and a power indicator. In addition, the Ibis Cordless has a unique stainless steel heating element (instead of the usual nickel-chrome plated copper coils) and a changeable scale filter.
