552 Darj Silver Needle White
For those who love the subtle nuances of the China Silver Needle (No. 551), this Darjeeling will be a welcome novelty. Produced in early spring by steaming and drying the hand harvested unopened buds, the leaves appear to be in their unprocessed, natural state. Once infused a unique, delicate, sweet fruity aroma evolves. On the palate this subtle tea offers an array of flavors, bringing to mind a cross between a China Silver Needle White and a fine first flush Silver Tip Darjeeling. While light bodied, it has a long finish with a wonderful, lingering aftertaste that begs for one more sip!
Recommendations: Use 3 grams (2 soupspoons) per 6oz. cup; heat fresh water until steaming briskly (not boiling); let steep for 2 min. Good for multiple infusions.  To make room for the new harvest of this wonderful tea, we are offering it at a 25% discount. Enjoy this great value!
