After cupping invoices 1 through 42 we decided on DJ20 as this year's 1st flush Makaibari Estate offering. A fine plucking with a good amount of silvery buds, this selection is slightly fuller-bodied and a bit sweeter than our other first flushes. The Makaibari's floral, mellow character makes for a soft, likable and sophisticated tea.
